DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole - exterior

About

Set in the heart of one of the most eclectic and vibrant seafronts in the UK, DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole perfectly captures the character of this much-loved city, while still retaining a classic Victorian elegance and charm. But even with gorgeous contemporary touches, the heritage and character of the hotel shines through. With a 125 year history, it would be impossible for it not to. You’ll immediately notice the original architectural features and the marble staircase that dates from 1890. And famously, we’re proud to say Winston Churchill was a guest and dined with us here at the hotel after WWII.

Located at the front of the hotel is The Metropole Bar and Terrace. The ideal setting for any occasion: with an air of timeless glamour and stunning sea views, it is a great place to relax and take in one of the world’s best sunsets. Enjoy the all-day dining menu, using locally sourced ingredients and paired with perfectly hand-crafted cocktails.

You can also visit the LivingWell Health Club, where you get to enjoy the indoor heated pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi or fitness centre.
