Travelling
Getting to Brighton & Hove is easy. It's just under an hour by rail from London, about 45 minutes by road from the M25 London orbital motorway and half-an-hour from London Gatwick Airport. You can book train tickets online here. There are also regular coach services connecting London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.
The nearby port of Newhaven provides the city with easy access to Northern France and the Channel Tunnel and other major ports - Dover, Portsmouth and Southampton - are between 1.5 and 2 hours away by motorway.
