As the regional winner in theTourist Information Service category of the Tourism ExSEllence Awards, Brighton VIC are through to the national finals.

Outstanding tourism
The awards, which recognise outstanding tourism businesses from across the South East, are divided into a number of categories, including Best Tourism Experience, Sustainable Tourism and  Outstanding Customer Service.

As winners of the Tourist Information Category Brighton Visitor Information Centre now go through to the national finals next April.

Brighton dominates awards
Four other Brighton and Hove businesses were also short-listed in the awards: Yellowave Beach Sports and SailnetUK (Sports Tourism Category), were awarded highly commended and runner up respectively, and Brighton House, (Sustainable Tourism Category) and Tuc Tuc, (Best Tourism Experience Category), won highly commended.

Brighton part of new advertising campaign
The Brighton Visitor Information Centre have enjoyed a roll of success since they moved to their new location at the Royal Pavilion in March.

They were also recently selected as one of a handful of official partner information centres working with Visitbritain, with one of the VIC members selected to be part of Visitbritain's new advertising campaign.
