Film showings across city
Returning for its 5th venture, CINECITY takes place across Brighton in all the city's cinemas, as well as a host of other locations, including a new screen in the centre of the city, at the Sallis Benney Theatre.
From Ang Lee to Brighton 'B' movies
From 'Lust', the latest outing from Ang Lee, and 'The Assassination of Jesse James' with Brad Pitt to Brighton 'B' movies, digital shorts and great documentaries, CINECITY is a veritable filmic feast.
This year highlights also include a special focus on the Austrian avant-garde cinema, plus Peter Tscherkassky and Gustav Deutsch, who will both be at the festival to present masterclasses hosted by curator Mark Webber.
Renowned South African artist William Kentridge will also be coming to Brighton for the festival to launch an exhibition of his moving image work.

Brighton Cinecity takes place from 15th November 15th to 2nd December at venues across the city, including the Duke of Yorks, the oldest continuous working cinema in the country.
