Short film winners

Check out the winners of the VisitBrighton film competition, recently announced at a Cinecity film Festival event.

Best 60 second short
For those of you who don't know, we recently worked with Final Cut to commission a 60 second promotional short about Brighton. The winning entries were:

• 1st Prize - Tony Moon with 'Brighton's Worst Kept Secret'
• 2nd prize - Drew Cameron with 'B Right on (you know it makes sense)'
• 3rd prize and the People's Choice Award - Daniel Parsons with 'Hold Tight: Brighton'

Brighton on film
The winners were announced as part of a Cinecity event dedicated to showing how Brighton has been depicted on film through the ages. From men peddling of the end of the West Pier to someone diving off the pier and back up again, the night was a real treat into archive footage from the 1890s to the swinging 60s.

Thanks to everyone who entered the VisitBrighton film competition. Brighton's certainly a creative place, but then we knew that!
