2012 Olympics
Nivea Sun Yellowave beach sports centre in Brighton has been selected as an approved venue for beach volleyball training camps in advance of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Leading up to the Games, teams from around the world will be training at the centre in Brighton.
National beach volleyball finals
Yellowave beach sports centre opened in March 2007 and offers 6 permanent sand courts that are floodlit. There are also changing facilities and a popular café offering healthy food. It is the first permanent beach sports centre in the UK and is staging both the National beach volleyball finals and the World under 21 beach volleyball championships from 30th August to 7th September this year.

Brighton is becoming increasingly synonymous with beach sport and beach volleyball is a fun, healthy activity that can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities, not just the pros!
