Vote for Brighton and make us the Most Musical City in England.
Indie cool and festival fun
From indie cool to festival fun, we reckon Brighton celebrates a musical culture second to none. If you agree, give us your vote and help Brighton win its deserved place as England's most musical city.
From Fatboy to Bat for Lashes
We've got Fatboy, our own brand of indie cool, including The Kooks, British Sea Power, Electric Soft Parade, Mumm-Ra, Brakes, The Maccabees and Mercury nominated Bat for Lashes, not to mention the lovely Nick Cave and political folk-punk activists The Levellers.
Mods and Rockers
Brighton has also been the scene of some truly seminal moments in music history, including the visits of the rival Mods and Rockers in the 1960's and Abba winning with 'Waterloo' in the Eurovision at The Brighton Dome. Brighton was also the setting for the film Quadrophenia.
Add to that a world famous club scene and nightly live music across the city and surely there's no excuse not to vote for Brighton!? The Peter Andre/Jordan duet really wasn't our fault…
Jamelia and Sting back campaign
Jamelia, Sting and Richard Hawley are all backing the campaign set up by the Arts Council to find England's most musical city.
Vote Brighton as your most musical city NOW.
