Tourism Strategy

The City Council, in Partnership with the Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership have produced a refresh of the Tourism Strategy in response to the continuing challenges facing the sector.

The new strategy sets out a ten year vision to 2018 that will set the city up as a destination where the needs of the visitor, the tourism industry, the community and the environment are in complete balance.

Tourism Research

Tourism research is key because it helps us to make decisions about how to develop our work and what activities to undertake. It can also help businesses in the city to make decisions.

We have an ongoing programme of research in a number of areas including Visitor Surveys and Economic Impact studies.
