The fishing industry and beach leisure trade of Brighton is presented at this museum on the seafront. Working fishermen in adjacent arches bring history to life. There are exhibitions including boats and fishing artefacts. Visual images include archive and contemporary film and a slide show. There is also an audio presentation of fishing folk talking and singing. Archives, including family history are available to view by appointment.
Free admission, but donations welcome.

Nearest major road is A279. Located opposite Old Ship Hotel on the lower esplanade of Brighton's seafront.
Public Transport Directions
Nearest station is Brighton. Proceed towards the sea, to the lower esplanade and towards Brighton Pier until five fishing boats are seen on the 'Hard'.
