Magnificent Gothic Chapel set on the South downs founded in 1868 and consecrated in 1911. Planning permission has been passed for a west end extension.

Lancing College Chapel is the largest school chapel in the world - the height of the nave is 27.5m to the apex of the vault.

The outstanding feature is the Rose window, dedicated by Archbishop Coggan in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales, in 1978 - At 9.7m in diameter it is the largest in England.

Come and view the many other features of this magnificent building, including the stained glass window dedicated by Archbishop Desmond Tutu on 22nd May 2007 in memory of Bishop Trevor Huddleston, a pupil at Lancing in the late 1920's.

The School, founded by Nathaniel Woodard in 1848, is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 13-18.

The Chapel is open to visitors daily - Mon-Sat: 10am-4pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 12noon-4pm.
