Coach parking in Brighton and Hove
In common with many historic cities and popular seaside destinations, coach parking in central Brighton is limited.
However the coach park on Madeira Drive offers a good facility for coach parking. Close to Brighton Marina and within easy reach of the city-centre drop-off and pick-up points, the park is exclusive to coaches and is open all year-round instead of just the summer season. It:
- offers 42 spaces
- operates 24 hours including weekends and Bank Holidays
- is self-running with three pay and display machines on site
- offers a tariff of £15.00 per day, payable at the machines in cash, with plans to introduce a credit card facility in the future.
Brighton & Hove City Council has taken over the running of the park and is now able to ensure regular monitoring, upkeep and enforcement, so that coach operators visiting the city are guaranteed a secure and well-run parking facility.
Coach set-down and pick-up points
Here is a map detailing coach set-down and pick-up points. It is important that coaches do not park on these set-down and pick-up points.

Closure of Madeira Drive: On certain days, special events are held on Madeira Drive which require its closure. The coach set-down and pick-up points on these days are transferred to Marine Parade between the Sea Life Centre and Lower Rock Gardens.
- Set-down points are on the north side of Marine Parade
- Pick-up points are on the south side.
