The Brighton Music Tunnel
An artistic memorial to a historic Brighton music venue and music artists associated with the city was unveiled by ‘The Who’ front man Roger Daltrey on May 25th 2010. ‘The Who’ were just one of numerous legendary bands who took the stage at ‘The Florida Rooms’, one of Brighton’s hottest music venues back in the 60s once located in the building that is now the Brighton ‘Sea Life Centre’. The 80-foot-pedestrian tunnel linking the Centre to the beach-side of Marine Parade has been given a unique artistic makeover by art students from the University of Brighton featuring music artists past and present closely associated with the city in the form of a mural art
