Brighton is a compact city with everything within easy walking distance. City centre parking is limited and if you are driving into the city the easiest option is to park-up for your stay and walk as much as possible while you are here. - Can I use my bus pass to travel for free?
From 1st April 2008 any body over 60 with a valid national concessionary fare pass can travel for free on local bus services (where tickets do not need to be pre-booked) between 09.30 - 23.00 on weekdays and anytime on weekends and bank holidays. Although please note this only applies for passes issused in England not Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Also passengers must have the new style passes with the English rose emblem.
