About

Jukebox 1264 presents…Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!: A Celebration of ABBA.

50 years on from their iconic Eurovision win in Brighton, ABBA’s legacy has flourished into a phenomenon that has gone almost intergalactic! From the hits of ABBA Gold, the ever-loved Mamma Mia show and movies, and now the mind-blowing ABBA Voyage concert in London, Sweden’s finest export continues to unite multiple generations through their unbeatable back catalogue of music.

Just down the road from where the famous 1974 Eurovision took place is the town of Lewes in East Sussex. In 2021, the Lewes-based band Jukebox 1264 debuted their first concert performing Carole King’s masterpiece Tapestry in full.
Three years later, the band are hitting the road to celebrate the music of Benny, Bjorn, Frida and Agnetha in a non-stop rollercoaster of hits and classic album tracks from across ABBA’s discography.

Expect to hear everything from “Waterloo” to “SOS”, “The Winner Takes it All” to “Does Your Mother Know” brought to life by a nine-piece band!

So put on your platform shoes and sparkliest attire and dance, jive, and have the time of your life as we thank ABBA for the music!

Jukebox 1264 are a pop ensemble formed by the Lewes Music Group in 2021. Their themed concerts pay tribute to eras, albums and artists throughout the last 60 years in popular music. Their debut concert in October 2021 was a sell-out tribute to Carole King’s Tapestry. Following on from this concert, the band have celebrated acts such as Billy Joel, The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac and have taken these unique showcases on tour across the UK.
