Multi-award winning jazz vocalist and BBC Broadcaster, Claire Martin OBE reunites with Brighton Based Montepelier Cello Quartet for our final concert with stylish interpretations of much loved songs taken from the Great American songbook, from Cole Porter to Carly Simon and George Gershwin to David Bowie.

We are thrilled to welcome Claire Martin OBE and the Brighton based Montepelier Cello Quartet for our final festival concert. A tour de force on the UK jazz scene Claire has collaborated with musical luminaries including Martin Taylor, John Martyn, Stephane Grappelli, Kenny Barron, Richard Rodney Bennett and Jim Mullen, gained many awards, including winning the British Jazz Awards eight times, and is signed to the prestigious Linn Records. In 2014 she embarked on a new and unique musical adventure with the Brighton based Montpellier Cello Quartet for a year and ten years on we are privileged to be hosting a special re-union featuring songs from Cole Porter to Carly Simon, George Gershwin to David Bowie. Stylish reworked interpretations of much loved classic songs taken from the Great American Songbook and beyond.
