Since its fledging beginning in 1992 with a very modest afternoon event on The Level, Brighton Pride has evolved into the biggest free Pride festival in the UK.

Voted ‘Best Pride’ on numerous occasions by Gay Times and Boyz, the Brighton Pride summer Festival marks a pinnacle in any gay calendar during August every year. 

With a different theme every year, its quite simply one of the biggest and best Pride festivals in the UK and possibly Europe.

Celebrating everything lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in a week long extravaganza of events and parties, Brighton Pride is jam packed with club nights, events and much more. 

It’s even got its very own dog show. Perfect for those posing pooches…

Brighton Pride Festival Parade

Culminating in a spectacular carnival parade and party in Preston Park, Brighton Pride endorses and celebrates the diversity of the gay community in the city and the contribution they have made to making Brighton and Hove the open, free spirited and diverse city it is today.
