This newly-renovated Georgian townhouse in the heart of Brighton & Hove with sea views to the side is situated in Hove’s famous Brunswick Conservation Area – literally on the boundary of Brighton and Hove – and is just a two-minute walk to the seafront. A quirky and stylish three-storey family house with three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private roof terrace, The Old Chandlery has recently been renovated to a very high standard and is now being offered as a luxury holiday or business retreat – quietly tucked away yet in the heart of the city’s bistro district.

The house sleeps up to six adults and is ideally configured for friends and families with its two good-sized bathrooms (one en-suite), two toilets and separate shower and bath on the first and second floors. The second bedroom can also be configured with either two European-sized single beds or with a fabulous Super King-sized bed. For those with very small children there is also a cot available as well as a highchair for the dining room.

The Old Chandlery is also equipped with a self-check-in system, meaning that guests can check themselves in as late as they like via their own unique front door code which they will receive first thing in the morning on the day of arrival.

But without doubt, one of the greatest features of the house is the private and secluded roof terrace on the first floor – accessible through double French windows from the spacious landing, itself a peaceful haven to relax in a comfy armchair. Here you can read a book or catch up with emails using the free high-speed internet connection accessible throughout the house. The terrace is also a lovely suntrap for an early evening drink or for alfresco dining.
