Brighton & Hove Pride is back and as it is just around the corner, here’s our top picks of how to celebrate and support this amazing community event.

We cannot wait to celebrate with our LGBTQIA+ community, especially after missing out in the last couple of years, the theme this year is Fabuloso, so dust off your best outfits, get your Pride flags out and get ready to support one of the biggest (And definitely brightest!) Pride events in the UK.

3, 5, 6, 13, 14 August - Pride at Komedia

From fundraising comedy shows, to glamorous dressing up nights and a queen’s bottomless brunch, celebrate your Pride weekend with decadence and humour whilst enjoying comedy from headliners such as Rosie Jones, Komedia has it all this Pride. Pride at Komedia


4 August - Pre-Pride party at Chalk

5 August - Pride Silent Disco at BA i360

Start your Brighton Pride weekend in style with an open-air silent disco. With favourite local DJs to get you into the Pride party spirit with a mix of Pride flavoured tunes on the BA i360 boarding deck. Grab your headsets, choose between two channels - dance classics or disco – and dance the night away! Book your tickets. 


5 August - Kids Pride Silent Disco

Get down with the kids at the family-friendly Kids Silent Disco party at BA i360! Celebrate the start of Brighton Pride weekend as a family and take your little dancers along to the open-air Kids Silent Disco on the British Airways i360 Deck! Click Here for More.


5 August - Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run

The 5km Rainbow Run will take place in Hove Park, just a short walk from Hove train station and the seafront. Expect a festival/party atmosphere, which will make this a memorable and fun event with lots of colour, live DJ sets, drag queens and other entertainers. Click Here for More.


5 August - Brighton & South Wales Gay Men Choruses Flying with Pride Show

In a special one-off performance, two of the country’s leading gay choirs will join forces to celebrate the return of Brighton Pride this August. “Flying With Pride” will see Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus and South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus come together to sing a mix of pride anthems and traditional choral pieces covering everything from Madonna to Men of Harlech. Click Here for More.


5 August - Pride at the Ironworks

‘Pride at the Ironworks’ is a season of cabaret, comedy and live music celebrating LGBTQ+ culture and diversity, and part of a fantastic new year-round cultural calendar! Don’t miss the Pride edition of Party Bag! A fun filled night with some of the best Drag entertainers in the UK.  There will be live songs, drag silliness, games, party bags and don’t forget the karaoke after party! Pride at the Ironworks.


6 August - Pride Community Parade

The themes of Love, Protest, and Unity bring together the brightest and most fun Pride parade in the UK, which we are welcoming back after 2 yearsWe love watching the fabulous outfits and soaking up the party atmosphere, the perfect way to enjoy Pride. Click Here for More.


6 August - Pride at the Salt Room

Want to bag the prime Pride Parade watching spot? Take the weight off and enjoy delicious Pride themed canapés at the Salt Room and enjoy a drink while you decide on your favourite float. Front row views, a live DJ and glitter artist will make sure your Pride starts with a bang! Front Row Views.


6 August - Pride on the Lane

Get your Pride on while you shop for the last bits of your outfit! Enjoy a cocktail as Gaydio hosts live DJ sets with a special cabaret performance from Brighton’s drag star, Lovinia Belle. There will also be fundraising for akt – a fantastic charity that supports young LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness. Pride on the Lane.


6 & 7 August - Pride Village Party

Entertainment zones, bars and venues, live performances and cabaret, DJs, drag artists, singers, performers, musicians come together for an unforgettable weekend of fundraising celebrations. How will you celebrate?


6 & 7 August - Drag in the Park

Award winning Drag Prince Alfie Ordinary presents an evening of drag and cabaret at this open-air drag extravaganza! Plus on the Sunday they are offering a family friendly show, the perfect way for little ones to join in the Pride celebrations! Click Here for More.


6 & 7 August - FilmPride

Now in its 4th year, FilmPride takes place in the heart of the community village, showing LGBTQIA+ films throughout the weekend. Check out the Programme Here.


6 August - Arcobaleno Pride

The name of this new restaurant, café and bar means 'Rainbow' in Italian making it a perfect place to celebrate Pride. Brunch will be served from 10:30 - 3pm with entertainment all day and an evening of burlesque. 


Whether you are ready to go all out at the Pride Village, or just want to dip your toes and watch the parade, be sure to have a happy and safe Pride. Planning your trip in advance always helps your weekend go smoothly, so get your train tickets booked and be ready to relax and enjoy the party atmosphere as soon as you arrive. Please also remember Pride is a non-profit event, so if you can support the Rainbow Fund in anyway to keep this community event going please donate where you can.
