The Sussex Beacon Charity Relay

The Sussex Beacon Charity Relay is back and better than ever!

If you fancy the idea of participating on Half Marathon Race Day, whilst only running 5k, then this is the event for you. Share the distance with three of your friends, family or colleagues and experience exclusive pre and post benefits!

The Sussex Beacon Charity Relay is a team fundraising challenge, taking place at The Rubix VT Brighton Half Marathon on Sunday 25th February 2024. Teams of 4 runners will complete the 13.1 mile course, with each completing just over 5k each by passing a baton between their team mates. Teams will battle it out to complete the course in the quickest time, with the top 3 teams winning an award and prize.

This event is first and foremost a fundraising event to raise vital funds for Sussex Beacon services, which help support and care for people living with HIV. Each team is asked to fundraise a minimum of £500 – but the sky is the limit! The team to fundraise the most for The Sussex Beacon will be crowned the winner of the Top Fundraiser Award and prize.

The Sussex Beacon welcome teams of friends, family members, colleagues and community groups to enter, with a choice of packages being available. Anyone over the age of 17 can enter.
