About

The Watershed is a new floating bar and restaurant at the Brighton Marina Yacht Club (BMYC).  Nestled in the heart of the marina among the yachts and sailboats moored there, the venue rises and falls with the tides offering a relaxing place for waterfront drinks, dining and socializing.

Decorated with nautical paraphernalia and memorabilia including photographs and paintings, model ships, sails, flags and insignias as well as cabinets filled with trophies BMYC has been awarded over the years, it has a large open plan area with restaurant style seating as well as a lounge with Chesterfield sofas by the bar.  Both areas have floor to ceiling windows with views of the marina and doors leading out on to the deck.

Enjoy alfresco lunches, dinners or drinks on the large sunny west-facing deck overlooking the tranquil setting of the marina.  The deck is also perfectly orientated for watching spectacular sunsets over a few sundowners.

The menu uses fresh local produce and ingredients served as small plates, classic dishes like fish & chips and burgers, as well as larger sharing platters and charcuterie boards.  Featuring a number of fish and seafood options, there are also dishes for those who prefer their protein more ‘turf’ than ‘surf’.  Veggie and vegan options are available too and on Sundays we serve one of the best roasts in Brighton.

Local craft brews sit alongside international draught beer brands, bottled beers, a good selection of quality wines and spirits.  We also serve barista coffees and fine teas.

The Watershed is also available for private hire for corporate hospitality, away days and team building as well as birthdays, wedding parties and other celebrations.  There is also a separate room with large boardroom table with seating for 10 guests and flatscreen TV for private dining or meetings.
