Located at the base of British Airways i360 in one of the 1866 West Pier toll booths, West Beach Café Bar has a sheltered sun terrace from where you can admire the spectacular sea views. Fully licensed, the café bar serves coffee, pastries, toasted paninis and a range of hot & cold drinks. It’s the perfect sunny spot to enjoy a coffee and cake or a bottle of fizz with friends while watching the sun set.

West Beach Café Bar is open from 10am – 7pm (opening times vary during the year). It serves fresh fruit smoothies, Brighton Sausage Company vegan rolls and sausage rolls, pastries, toasted paninis and local cakes. Available to eat in or takeaway.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options at West Beach Café Bar. Vegan sausage rolls from the much-loved Brighton Sausage Company and delicious vegan cakes from Sussex suppliers, Ruby’s Bakery and More Foods. There are also gluten free paninis available on request.
Start your day with a fresh fruit smoothie or a coffee. Celebrate over a special occasion lunch with a bottle of award-winning English sparkling wine from Nyetimber. Enjoy the sunset with a Brighton Gin & Tonic or a cold Harvey’s beer!
Combining a flight on board BA i360 followed by a light lunch or sunset drinks at the café is a lovely way to treat yourself or someone special.
The West Beach Café Bar caters for young families with plenty of space for buggies on the terrace and changing facilities in the BA i360 building.
The café bar has easy wheelchair access inside and to the sea view terrace. Dogs are very welcome.
West Beach Café Bar can be hired exclusively for drinks receptions and summer BBQ parties. Beachside event rooms are available in the main BA i360 building, they offer private beach terraces overlooking the iconic West Pier. West Beach restaurant is also available for private hire.
Map & Directions
The West Pier Tea Room is on national cycle route 2, which runs from Worthing to Rye, with a segregated cycle path on King's Road. Bike racks are available. For those visitors travelling by car, the Regency Square multi-storey car park is directly next to the site. The car park has 507 spaces and direct subway access to the beach next to the i360.
Public Transport Directions
The West Pier Tea Room has excellent public transport links. It is a 15-minute walk from Brighton train station, which has direct services from London stations (Victoria, London Bridge, St Pancras International and Clapham Junction), East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Luton, Bedford, Watford and Ashford International for Eurostar services. It also has direct services from various stations in Sussex and on the South Coast, including Eastbourne, Portsmouth and Southampton, and there are 19 bus routes stopping within about a 6-minute walk of the tower. Frequent scheduled bus services link Brighton station to Western Road, adjacent to the seafront. Visitors and staff are encouraged to travel by public transport, on foot or by bike.
