Forest & Nature Bathing Sussex create forest and nature immersions in the beautiful Sussex woods, meadows and beyond. This is not water bathing or wild swimming, this is bathing in nature.
Take a mindful and meditative approach to your daily walk, connect with nature and bird life and leave feeling calm and composed for the rest of your day. You can experience nature on your doorstep in this relaxed one hour experience near Pells Ponds and into the trees…
Duration: 1 hour
MEETING POINT: We will meet at Pells Pool address as stated in this event and walk on from there.
Clothing: All weather, warm and waterproof clothing. Wellies essential. Face masks essential for the introduction. Hand gel available through guide.
Numbers max 4: Currently we have a limited capacity of 4 people per group due to Covid 19 restrictions. Groups larger than 6 are not allowed to meet and interact unless they live together or are part of the same support bubble which may allow for larger groups.
Dogs: Currently no dogs allowed.

Forest Bathing is subtle therapy through nature. It simply helps return you to your original state of being. You could say that Forest bathing is a very simple and powerful way of, 'making a journey home', of reconnecting in a natural setting with who you are.
Step off the world and into the trees. Experience calm, freedom, magic, connection and the restorative touch of nature. Join us on peaceful journeys as we take you through the splendour of gentle woodland where you will connect to mother nature in all her glory, listening to her voice, responding to her call and surrendering to the peace and healing of her beauty.

Depending on the location and date of your Forest and Nature Bathing experience, you may have the opportunity to include intuitive writing, a nature fire-pit or an art exhibition and you may like to take advantage of local refreshments or a country pub lunch.
ABOUT THE ORGANISER ~ Amanda Bate
After years of experience in running nature based laughter therapy, movement, voice resonance and connected breath-work, Amanda felt it was time to develop her work in the direction of eco-therapy. Amanda is now trained in Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) and marries many of her therapeutic skills.
Finding personal solace and relief amongst trees and in nature, Amanda finds forest and nature bathing to be the ultimate cure for stress and anxiety. She brings gentle inquiry and invitations to individuals and groups so that they may experience the tranquility and healing of nature.
