Guided Bird 'Walkshop'

About

Explore how to identify common resident and migratory birds in this half-day walking workshop on the nature-rich edge of Brighton.

Before the day, you will receive step-by-step audio lessons on how to identify five key woodland species by sound.

On the day we will listen and look out for those birds, and others, during a 2.5-hour walk around Stanmer.

We will potentially encounter species such as Yellowhammer, Goldcrest, Mistle Thrush, Grey Wagtail, Nuthatch, Skylark, Great Spotted and Green Woodpeckers, Stock Dove, Treecreeper, Coal Tit and Chiffchaff.

We end the morning with a sit-down Q&A session at The One Garden. Tea / coffee and cake are included.

Places are limited to 8 participants. Children aged 10 and up are welcome accompanied by an adult. Dogs need to be left at home for this one.
