Rainy Days, Mondays & Good Old Dreams

About

"Rainy Days, Mondays & Good Old Dreams"

_Songs of __The Carpenters___

Kerry Le Bern's brand new show _Rainy Days, Mondays & Good Old Dreams_ is a celebration of the sublime vocal talent of Karen Carpenter.

In the show Kerry will talk about the lives of the Carpenter siblings, along with their musical influences, as she explores their incomparable back catalogue - singing all the old favourites, including _"Close To You", "Top of the World", "Yesterday Once More", "Superstar"_ and many other fabulous numbers.

When he heard Karen Carpenter's vocals for the first time, the great Herb Alpert said, "_This was an exceptional voice that was totally identifiable. Listening to that voice for the first time, I knew that radio could never submerge it, camouflage it or confuse it for anybody else. That voice coming out of that radio would be immediately identifiable throughout the ages_."

This promises to be a unique evening of beautiful music - starring Kerry on vocals and accompanied by the supremely talented pianist, Mark Busell.
