Description
This charming Georgian building which has great historical interest is situated in the most attractive part of the village and houses an Art Gallery & Museum which is now managed on a voluntary basis by The Rottingdean Preservation Society. There are varied exhibitions of work in the Gallery by Sussex artists, schools and others and these change every few weeks. There are displays with a local connection in the Museum and these also change regularly, although Kipling's Study is a permanent feature. Speakers can be provided for parties by prior arrangement.
Tea Garden at The Grange has re-opened under new management; Jane from the Ovingdean Undercliff cafe has taken over. It has a wonderful new menu - including teas, coffees, scrumptious cakes, light lunches, sandwiches & delicious soups. It is situated in the historic Lutyens Courtyard. Well-behaved dogs on leads to join their owners.
