Even though my last post was only on Friday a lot has changed already with increased restrictions in place to limit movement. Working in tourism I never thought I would be encouraging people to please #StayAtHome but here we are so please do respect the new rules and stay at home. However there are ways in which we can still enjoy the things we love about going on holiday by becoming armchair travellers or perhaps virtual visitors is a better term?

Of course the weather improves now that we are all spending more time indoors but you can still enjoy Brighton beachfront and see the beautiful sunrises by visiting our webcam (powered by Deckchair).

Here you can view the West Pier; BA i360, Brighton Palalce Pier and of course plenty of seagulls - all in real-time! The webcam automatically shows the live feed but you can also watch a timelapse of the last 24 hours by clicking on the 'Play' button on the right-hand side of the image.

Missing the culture of the city? Here are some cultural visits you can enjoy virtually:

Comedy shows

These are just some initial ideas - do add your top tips in the comments below.

Stay safe and please stay at home!
