We have come up with some ideas to help keep your spark alive, not easy when you’re home-schooling or working out of your bedroom. So how can you show your loved one you care without leaving your local area?

Just to say...

If, like many, you’re not going to be with your beau before the big day, send some love to their letterbox with a card. Forget saccharine, generic cards and instead head online to Creased Cards for a range of funny, heartfelt and quirky cards that are bound to hit the right note before you plan the other aspects of the big day. Creased take care of everything for you, so you can order online and sit back and relax. Plan ahead

While you must currently Stay at Home why not plan a romantic getaway for later in the year? Spend time thinking of your perfect itinerary, what would a romantic weekend away look like to you and your partner? Either surprise them with a finished plan and vouchers for each element or have fun planning and booking together, most hotels offer a Covid-19 promise, so if national rules change you can just postpone your stay, and believe me just knowing you have a date at some point in the future planned is a real treat to look forward to.

Buy a gift with meaning

Nothing says I love you like a well thought, unique gift that fits their personality. After a rare record of your song? Want to buy them a piece of one-off art? Or perhaps some memorabilia of a trip you’ve taken to the city, Brighton and particularly the North Laine area is your one stop shop for independent, unusual shops, mainstream need not apply.

Home spa ahh ahh

Pamper during the pandemic has taken on a whole new meaning, surprise your loved one with some luxury at home treatments, spas like Treatment Rooms and Little Jasmine both offer salon grade products for less than you would think, so why not treat yourself at the same time.
