Re-opening 17th April on weekends as well as the May Bank Holidays, support your local museums this Easter especially after such a financially difficult year. Why not try their functional and beautiful tableware, perfect for dining al fresco in the garden or a summer picnic? 31 March – 18 April: Dennis the Menace at Wakehurst

Join in the Beano family fun this Easter holiday at Wakehurst with their outdoor festival of jokes, plants, and pranks. They’ll be celebrating Dennis' birthday with a brand-new comic-strip and an interactive story trail around the gardens. Trail suitable for all ages.

1 April: Phoenix from the Flames

One of the city’s favourite venues The Old Market is rising from the ashes with Phoenix from the Flames. Headlined by Brit Soul singer Alice Russell, the event will also feature performances by Scarlett Fae, Jenny Foulds, Phonetic and members of the cast of the hit show STOMP.

2 – 16 April: Free Easter Bunny Hunt

Free and just for fun at Yellowave, come and find the famous characters printed on Easter bunnies around the venue. When you've found all then return to reception to collect your choccy treat!

2 – 17 April: Bertram Bunny’s Easter Pirate Adventure

Hop along to Borde Hill Garden for Bertram Bunny's Easter Adventure, spend time together as a family this Easter for pirate themed fun and nature-filled discoveries at Borde Hill Garden.

2 – 19 April: One Garden Brighton - Spring Opening

One Garden Brighton, a walled garden rooted in the past and focused on the future, is pleased to be opening to the public for the first time this April. The gardens and market will be open for tours, take-away catering and more. With an opening event being held on the 2nd April.

2 April – 16 May: Visit Charleston's Spring Garden

Charleston's beautiful walled garden is opening to the public from Friday 2 April. Tickets are free but pre-booking is essential. The garden at Charleston was a canvas, a studio, a prop store, a stage, a sanctuary, and is absolutely central to the creativity of the place. 

7, 8 and 15 April: Easter Kids’ Beach Volleyball Session

Bounce into the Easter break and get the kids learning a new skill outdoors at Yellowave. Each one-hour session includes warm up, skills and drills and lots of fun and games in the sand, perfect for burning off any excess energy!
