For those of you planning your first trip to the city, or the ones who haven't visited for a while, we have pulled together our Top 10 reasons why you are going to fall in love with Brighton & Hove.

Packed full of hip cafés, arts venues, vintage shops, flea markets and indie boutiques – if you haven’t wandered around the pedestrianised streets of the Lanes and North Laine, you haven’t been to Brighton.
Brighton & Hove is well-known for being blessed by the culinary gods. From nine-course tasting menus in chic settings to fish & chips on the beach, you’ll find food from every corner of the world to suit every budget.
Aside from the world-famous Pride festival, and the culture-packed Brighton Festival, you can enjoy umpteen other festivals celebrating everything from beer to paddling round the pier.
Street art fans can find plenty of eye-popping art work all over the city, kicking off with the iconic Prince Albert pub, just a few yards from the station.
Famous landmarks such as the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Palace Pier, the British Airways i360, Volk’s Electric Railway, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery and Brighton Sea Life are all fun and fascinating places to visit, rain or shine.
Brighton’s easy to get around – most of the above are within walking distance of the train station, and buses with disabled access can take you to most parts of the city. Alternatively, you’re never far from a bike-hire point.
With the South Downs National Park on its doorstep, the jaw-dropping Devil’s Dyke is easily accessible by open-top bus from the centre of town – or if you’re a keen cyclist, you can bike it there. You can also cycle up to Ditchling Beacon and enjoy the panoramic views from the highest point in Sussex.
Also within easy reach of Brighton you can go wine-tasting at vineyards, visit numerous nature reserves, learn about foraging, explore medieval castles in nearby market towns such as Lewes or Arundel, or visit Seven Sisters Country Park, a dramatic beauty spot often used as a film location.
If you love being on the water, take a guided tour of the marine conservation reserve or the offshore wind farm – if you’re lucky, you might see a dolphin!
Finally, if you like an open-air spectacle, in the winter months you can watch stunning murmurations of starlings soaring above Brighton Palace Pier, while you sit and enjoy a sun-downer.
