Meet A Local
What really sets Brighton & Hove apart from other destinations is the people. The city is known for having a laid-back atmosphere where anything goes and anything can happen!
This is because of the people of Brighton who are, generally speaking, creative, tolerant and passionate about their home city. If you really want to get under the skin of the city then chat to a local, and as Brighton is often voted as one of the friendliest cities in the country this won't be a problem.
To see what we mean watch this joyous moment of people spontaneously dancing on the streets of Brighton, captured by YouTube user EzdaBeevers:
To get the insider's guide why not book a Greet with a resident or say hello to one of our City Champions? There are also regular volunteer run Healthwalks so get some excercise as well as getting to meet a local.
Brighton & Hove is a city of festivals and many of these include interactive events which are a great way to get to know people, so check out our What's On section to see what's coming up.
