About

Explore the city with our new online cycle map. You can choose routes that suit how you like to ride and make a customised map for your journey.

The map allows you to find all the cycle facilities available on any chosen route. You can view features like cycle lanes and cycle contraflows as well as handy spots like cycle shops, cycle hire and parking.

It can be used for leisure or business visits, on or off road adventures and to find traffic free or child friendly cycling space. The map includes features for cyclists of all abilities.

Whether you prefer off-road or quiet areas, a rural ride on the Downs or are looking for more direct, faster routes, the map can help you find them. It is designed to make cycling in the city more practical and enjoyable. Many of the features on the map were suggested by local cyclists.

Make the map yours by selecting the area you want to ride in and look for your preferred route. You can add landmarks, street names, cycle parking, and cycle repair shops.

Simply select the features you want the map to show from the menu and zoom in on the area you want to see. A print option allows you to print or save a copy of your customised map and add your own title and notes. Or you can download a copy of the city centre or wider city map.

Print versions are available at most cycle retailers and council service sites, as well as many hotels, cafes and shops across the city.

We welcome feedback from users too; you can do this through a link on the map.
