Hello, I’m Nina. I’m 11 years old and I'm going to tell you about my recent visit to Pizza Express with my Mum.

As soon as I walked in, I thought the whole place was decorated really nicely. The man at the door greeted us and sat us down in one of the booths.  I got a lemonade which was very refreshing. My mum got a still lemon drink which was also really nice and refreshing, but personally I preferred my lemonade

Now for the food.... we got dough balls as a starter which is what I was looking forward to the most, as I absolutely love them! If you don’t know about Pizza Express dough balls, they are little balls of dough which come with a yummy garlic butter and it tastes AMAZING.  Me and mum shared them, but I think I ate more than her.

For my main course, I ordered a Margherita pizza with extra ham on a classic base. It was really nicely cooked. My mum ordered La Reine pizza on a classic base which comes with mushrooms, olives and ham. She was very happy with it.

After that, we got dessert. I got a brownie which was really good because it wasn't too rich or over powering with chocolate and it comes with a dollop of ice-cream. My mum didn't really want a big dessert and she saw on the menu that they do something called Dolcetti which is where you get a mini dessert served with a tea or coffee. Perfect! She ordered a mint tea and a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake which she let me try. It was really nice.

I really enjoyed my trip to Pizza Express and I would thoroughly recommend it if you’re coming to Brighton.

Nina
