SPACE + THYME is a fun and friendly Brighton-based catering and events company.  We are a collaboration of brilliant and passionate chefs, experienced hospitality and events professionals and a dedicated team of support staff.  We use top quality, locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection and complemented with our can-do attitude and service delivered in an authentic and unpretentious way... and always with a smile!

 

We can cater for any type of event and occasion:

Private events including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations

Corporate events including launches, networking events and conferences

Smaller bespoke supper clubs and pop-ups

Large-scale outdoor catering for sporting and cultural events and festivals

 

We provide outdoor catering at the Brighton Marathon each April and manage the bar at the Spiegeltent, one of the busiest cultural hubs during the Brighton Festival and Fringe each May. 

 

As well as offsite catering, SPACE + THYME is also proud to manage three of the most well-known and much-loved pubs in central Brighton.  The Black Lion, The Mesmerist  and brand new The Flipside Cocktail Lounge. If you’re looking for a central Brighton venue to host an event, the Mesmerist and The Flipside each having spaces that can be privatized and hired exclusively. In all our venues, the team of resident chefs lovingly create menus that reflect the personality of these venues and that are updated seasonally to ensure the very best quality ingredients are used.

 

We also have a range of really cool catering equipment for hire including our vintage silver Air Stream, a Smoker Train for infusing delicious smokey flavours into meats, fish and cheeses and a Bavarian Swing Grill that will make an impressive centerpiece at any outdoor event or garden party.
