Shelter Hall is Brighton’s food and drinks hall, serving up non-stop originality and curated menus from seven different independent kitchens. 

Located directly on Brighton seafront between the iconic Brighton Palace Pier and West Pier and just a ten-minute walk from Brighton station. Shelter Hall was originally built in the 1880s and is now home to seven kitchens, a bar, a large outdoor terrace, five first-floor balconies, the secret Skylark Cocktail Bar and a private dining room. 

The resident kitchens regularly rotate, bringing together Brighton's best independent chefs alongside culinary talent from around the world. With dishes spanning worldwide cuisines, there's always something new to discover. Order through the app or directly from the kitchens and have your food delivered to your table, making it an easy choice for families, groups and visitors alike. Whether you're planning ahead or dropping in, Shelter Hall welcomes hundreds of walk-in guests every day while also accepting advance bookings. 

With a year-round events calendar celebrating culture, food and entertainment, there's always something happening at Shelter Hall. From the annual Christmas light switch-on, choirs and Diwali celebrations to the city's biggest Oktoberfest, every season brings something new. In summer, grab a seat on the balcony or terrace, enjoy live music and sample international cuisine. Throughout winter, join Shelter Hall for supper clubs, gigs in the Secret Bar and one-off pop-ups from renowned chefs.
