The Salt Room
We're thrilled to share our new menus!
A La Carte
Offering perfect views of the Brighton seafront, the West Pier and the i360, The Salt Room serves the freshest seasonal fish and seafood along with moreish cocktails, a bespoke wine list and excellent, relaxed service.
With floor to ceiling windows and, for al fresco dining, an outdoor terrace, the modern British seafood and grill restaurant focuses on celebrating the fruits of the sea, delivering the finest seafood, cooked expertly over charcoal.
Head Chef Dave Mothersill has created an award winning menu that offers a wide selection of sustainably sourced seafood dishes including impeccably fresh cuttlefish, oysters, lobster, sea bass and their signature whole market fish to share cooked over charcoal.
The Salt Room champions local produce, using the best available from Sussex and the surrounding areas including catches of the day and homemade syrups and tonics at the bar.
The Surf Board, a selection of the days coal roasted oysters, Scottish prawns, scallops, squid and more is the house speciality. A Taste of the Pier, including ice creams, doughnuts, marshmallows, fudges, coconut ices & chocolate pebbles recreates the best of the British seaside sweets.
Recently awarded Brighton's Best Restaurant Bar, The Salt Room Bar offers a relaxed drinking area for a pre and post dinner cocktail or a glass of wine before seeing the sights of Brighton
Afternoon Tea in Brighton is best enjoyed with views of the sea in stylish modern surroundings. The Salt Room's Afternoon Tea offers a chance to relax, enjoy a range of savoury and sweet treats along with a pot of Jing tea or Roasted Bean Company Coffee for just £24.95. We recommend adding a G & Tea (+£5) or a glass of Tattinger Champagne (+£10) to the classic British tea time. A selection of Afternoon Tea treats include Crab scotch egg, Rockeffeller oyster, Truffled grilled cheese, Salmon & squid ink bun, Aged beef tartare & egg yolk jam sandwich along with Plain scones, House made clotted cream & strawberry elderflower jam, Chocolate pebbles, Pistachio & raspberry battenburg, Rhubarb & custard macaroon, Orange & yuzu posset and of course Candy Floss. Served daily from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, pre-booking is essential.
