A new Brighton tour operator with a focus on showcasing our wonderful Sussex countryside. Nestled amongst the foothills of the South Downs, hidden gems of British countryside are waiting to be discovered. Wine with sparkles awaits you! Sit back, relax and enjoy the taste of Sussex as we transport you out of Brighton to explore our local vineyards for tutored wine and cheese tasting. Take the scenic route as we snake through ancient villages and pass historical places of interest. Our vineyards all have unique locations. Some are exposed with spectacular views across the Sussex Weald, others are nestled within the rolling hills of the South Downs. A Great British Wine Tour will introduce you to English wine and cheese makers where you will learn, taste and enjoy.
You will visit at least two sussex vineyards and be given a full vineyard and winery tour and tutored tastings of a variety of wines. Lunch is included… but save room for later! In the Afternoon, its off to one of our local Cheese producers where you will be given a tour of the dairy and taste a wide variety of local organic cheeses.
Due to our convenient location, we are a short picturesque twenty minute drive into the Sussex wine region. That gives you more time to taste and enjoy these beautiful locations. Its easy with us. We have convenient pick up and drop off locations within Brighton.
“When the weatherman says its raining” - All of our partner vineyards and cheese producers have wonderful tasting rooms and inside facilities with large outside viewing areas. Our tour is the perfect choice for the world famous English climate. Beautiful in the sunshine, cosy in the rain.

We offer the following tours:
Sussex Vineyard Tour
We transport you out into the Sussex countryside to High Weald Dairy Farm. Here you will be shown their cheese factory and shown how their cheeses are made followed by a tour of the cheese store where the cheeses are matured ready for tasting. After your tour the cheese maker will invite you into their tasting room where you will be given a tutored tasting of 6 cheeses.
Following your Cheese Tour, it’s off to our favourite country pub for a traditional charcuterie / ploughman’s lunch with fresh local seafood, salads, meats, cheeses, breads and chutneys. After lunch we head to a local Sussex vineyard for a full vineyard and winery tour where you will walk amongst the vines and learn about english wine production from grape to glass by the winemaker. This is followed by a tutored tasting of at least four award-winning wines. After your vineyard tour, we head to the highest viewpoint in sussex for 360 degree views of Sussex and the sea. The perfect day out!
Bluebell Railway and Vineyard Tour
We pick you up from Brighton Station and transport you through the Sussex countryside to the Bluebell Steam Railway. The set of countless film and TV dramas such as Downton Abbey, the Bluebell railway is the finest preserved steam railway in the UK. Step back in time as we drop you off at Sheffield Park Station where your expert guide will show you onto the platform and tell you the history of this famous historic railway.
After your short tour of the station, your locomotive will arrive and you will be greeted into a historic carriage and take a an hour and a half journey through the Sussex countryside. Your guide will be with you to answer any questions, or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery. After you have returned to Sheffield Park, its a brief drive to our favourite country pub for a specially selected menu of local produce.
After lunch, it’s just a five minute drive to Bluebell Vineyard Estates – here you will be greeted by their expert guide and be taken on a tour of the vineyard, winery and bottling plant to lean how English sparkling wine is made from grape to glass. After your tour, you will be welcomed onto their sun terrace for a tutored tasting of four award-winning sparkling wines. On our way back to Brighton, we will stop off at the highest point in Sussex for 360 degree views of Sussex and down to the sea. A truly magical day out!
Springs Smoked Salmon and Sussex Vineyard Tour
We Pick you up from Brighton train station and take you out for a day exploring the tastes of Sussex. Our first stop is Springs Smokery - suppliers of smoked salmon, cheeses and meats to the most prestigious restaurants in Sussex and London including Harrods and British Airways First Class. You will learn the History of Springs and have a tour of the smokery to see how their smoked salmon is prepared, cured and smoked in oak kilns. After your tour, we have lunch consisting of a taster menu of including Smoked salmon, makrel, cheeses, breads, cured meats and homemade chutneys all paired with a Sussex sparkling wine. After you tour we head to an award-winning Sussex vineyard for a vineyard and winery tour where you will learn about English sparkling wine production from grape to glass followed by a tutored wine tasting of still and sparkling wines.
Sussex Breweries Tour
Our Great British Brewery Tour will take you out of the city and into the wilds of Sussex to visit two award-winning breweries for a day of beer tasting with a hearty lunch! We meet at Brighton Station and transport you out into the Sussex countryside where we visit our first brewery, Here you will be given a full tour of the brewery by the head brewer and shown how Sussex beer is produced. You will taste a variety of beers and have the chance to ask all of your beer-related questions.
After our first brewery, it’s off to a traditional country pub for a hearty lunch. After lunch it’s off to brewery number two where you will taste another selection of Sussex beers and impress their head brewer by all the knowledge you gained from our first stop
