Road Directions

The Old Market can be found on Upper Market Street, just off Western Road - one of Brighton & Hove’s busiest shopping areas. It is less than 5 minutes’ walk to the city’s famous seafront.

Pay and Display parking is available in numerous sidestreets around The Old Market, but if spaces are difficult to find, we’re very close to the seafront, which has a number of parking options.

Public Transport Directions

Buses run frequently from all over the city, practically to our door. To reach The Old Market, jump on a 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 20X, 24, 25, 46, 49, 49A, 81 or finally N25 (night bus service).

The Old Market is just 20 minutes’ walk through the city centre from Brighton railway station, which has fast and regular services to and from London (and lots of other destinations.) Call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950.

The Old Market is also about 25 minutes’ walk from Hove railway station.
