About
Created by Kalms Herbal Remedies, the exhibition explores the concept of ‘kalmfulness’ – a state of feeling peaceful and balanced amid everyday life – and encourages people to embrace small, achievable ways to reduce stress.
Kalmfulness can be found in simple, everyday moments – from taking a few deep breaths to spending time outdoors or connecting with loved ones. This idea sits at the heart of the Moments of Kalmfulness gallery, which brings these everyday moments to life through calming imagery designed to help visitors pause and reset.
The concept is supported by research showing the impact of visual calm. While 65% of UK adults say time outdoors helps them feel more relaxed, over half (52%) say that even viewing images of nature or tranquil scenes can help them feel more at ease.
Visitors can explore a carefully curated collection of images capturing moments of peace and tranquillity. The gallery includes contributions from the general public and local creatives, including the Brighton and Hove Camera Club, offering a range of perspectives on everyday moments of kalmfulness.
