About

A rare opportunity to see and hear "Dropping Like Butterflies" - an album of Nina's brilliant, evocative poetry spoken in her beautiful, atmospheric voice over glimmering rock 'n' roll composed and performed by Neal X and Chris Musto - in an intimate live setting at the wonderful Hotel Pelirocco, Brighton.

"A lyrical nightscape of melancholic beauty, it's a unique and powerful record which chronicles the demi-monde of lost souls and wayfarers."

The album "Dropping Like Butterflies" is released on May 15th on the Creation Youth label.
Mixed by Mike Scott of The Waterboys.

Says Mike - "Nina writes about bohemians, wayfarers, geniuses, artists, lost souls, and wastrels with compassion and complete understanding. And Neal and Chris have accompanied the poems with music that sounds like the Velvet Underground lit up by twinkling lights.
I loved what I heard so much I asked if I could mix it - and mixing it has been one of the great musical pleasures of my life. Nina's poems are deep, sometimes funny, and often very moving indeed, and I'm not ashamed to say I mixed some of the tracks with tears rolling down my face. The album's epic closing tour de force, LUNAR MOTHS, is a stunning masterpiece, one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard."
