NATIONAL REMEMBRANCE SERVICES 2024

Services to be held throughout Brighton, Hove and Portslade to mark National Remembrance The Mayor, Cllrs or his representatives will attend ceremonies where ever possible, bearing in mind that legislation may change and therefor affect plans.

Blessing in the Garden of Remembrance
Brighton War Memorial [garden next to the fountain], Old Steine, Brighton
The service starts at 10:45, please assemble by 10:40

The Royal Sussex Regimental Association Remembrance Service
The Royal Sussex Regiment Memorial, Regency Square, Brighton
A short service will be held at 09:00, please assemble by 08:50

Brighton Parade and Service
Brighton War Memorial, Old Steine
The Parade and Service begins at 10:50 and is followed by wreath-laying. Please assemble by 10:30

Easthill Park Memorial
Easthill Park, Easthill House, Portslade BN41 2FA
The Service starts at 10:45 followed by a limited wreath-laying ceremony at 11.00. Please assemble by 10:30.

Hove Cemetery [North and South]
Hove Cemetery, Old Shoreham Road, Hove BN3 7EF
(North Gate Memorial followed by South Gate Memorial weather permitting)
A short wreath-laying ceremony will take place first at the North Gate Memorial at 11:00. Please assemble by 10:50. This will followed by the same ceremony at the South Gate Memorial.

Rottingdean Parade and Service
War Memorial, Village Green, Rottingdean, Brighton BN2 7HA
Parade to form up at the lower High Street at 11:30. The Remembrance Service then starts at 12:00 at the War Memorial on the Village Green.

Sunday 10 November 14:30
Hove Parade and Service, followed by the Civic Memorial Service at All Saints Church
War Memorial, Grand Avenue, Hove BN3 2NA
A short service and official wreath-laying beginning at 14:30 followed by March Past, Salute, Parade to
All Saints Church on The Drive for the Civic Memorial Service. Please assemble by 14:20

Brighton: Armistice Day, Two-minute Silence and Service
War Memorial, Old Steine, Brighton
The service will start at 10:50 with a two-minute silence at 11:00. Please assemble by 10:45

The service will start at 10:55, with a two-minute silence at 11:00. Please assemble by 10:50
