Summer Fiesta

About

The Summer Fiesta is run by the Bilingual Primary School PTA and has grown year on year to serve not only the school community but the wider Brighton and Hove population. Last year, over 1,000 people attended and we aim for it to be even bigger and better this year. Scheduled for Saturday 11th July, the all-day event in Hove Park will see the community come together for games stalls, stage performances including dancing with recorded music and live music, bouncy castle, food trucks and stalls, community stalls. This is a true immersion experience of Spanish and Latin culture for everyone to come along and enjoy.

The Fiesta is part of Brighton & Hove’s Sustainable Events Programme and the organisers are committed to minimising negative impacts and maximizing benefits to the environment, people and the local economy.

The PTA aims to raise £15,000 from the Fiesta to fund learning activities for the BPS schoolchildren, including the Year 6 annual trip to Madrid, in which they spend a week immersed in Spanish culture and practice their language skills.
