Welcome to Brighton & Hove, one of the most vegan friendly cities in the UK.

🥦 This post was last updated in January 2024 🥦

As Veganism has been core to our culture for so long, we are old hands at making plant-based mouth-watering dishes, from fine dining to burgers and shakes that will satisfy all your cravings, read on to find our top picks.

Cin Cin

Cin Cin has always had a Vegan menu, but to showcase their delicious plant-based dishes they converted their entire a la carte menu to a celebration of vegan food this January - perfect if you are celebrating veganuary!

Terre a Terre

Having produced some of the best UK vegan and vegetarian plates, you know that Terre a Terre are always a good option for a plant-based meal out. Head here for a romantic meal or birthday celebration, and you will be wowed by their creative, unique, and delicious dishes.

Curry Leaf

Named one of the best 12 Indian restaurants in Britain by BBC Good Food Magazine, Curry Leaf serves a fabulous range of authentic vegan curries, plus did we mention they have award-winning craft beers to accompany your dish of choice?

Being vegan doesn't mean you have to give up on pizzas! From groundbreaking plant-based cheese to unique wholegrain sourdough, the team here have a passion for innovation and have recently introduced a small plates menu.

Serving fresh, authentic Greek food has always been the ethos of this Hove favourite, but if you haven’t tried their vegan menu, what are you waiting for? The Dolmadakia and Moussake are our favourite combo, although there is plenty of choice, so you won’t be limited.

Lost in the Lanes

With an all-day vegan breakfast that will make your mouth water, Lost in the Lanes offers a great range of vegan choices in a super cool, relaxed setting. The perfect spot to relax after some shopping, this is our go-to for a tasty treat.

Burnt Orange

Offering some wonderful, small tasting plates, a relaxed atmosphere and reputation worthy cocktails, Burnt Orange is the perfect spot to sit, chill and enjoy amazing food and company.
*We advise visitors to check the menu before booking, as it changes regularly and sometimes there are more vegan options available than others.

Moshimo has become one of the leading restaurants on the South Coast. Known for its fresh, handmade sushi and authentic approach to hot Japanese dishes but did you know that they also offer an extensive vegan sushi menu?

We hope this gives you a flavour of what’s available on the Brighton food scene, but this is just the tip of the iceberg (see what we did there?!) find out more on our Food & Drink page
