Brighton Trans Pride: 18 July

Trans Pride Brighton is the first and the largest Trans Pride event outside of America. Each year since 2013 Brighton has been proud to host the largest protest for trans liberation in Europe, with over 10,000 people attending. This is a great day, where trans people, friends, allies and family can meet and have an amazing time in a fun and safe space.


Pride at the Pavilion: 30 July

Back for its second year, Pride at the Pavilion promises once again to kick off your Pride weekend in style. Before the parade, before the park, before the madness, join us at the Brighton Royal Pavilion for a glamorous evening like no other.


Drag in the Park: Family Edition: 31 July

Dust of those sparkles and warm up those singing voices, Brighton’s best family-friendly Drag event is back! Get ready to boogie in the sunshine and sing along to your favourite pop and Disney songs, as some of the UK’s biggest Queens deliver an inclusive and inspiring show for all ages.


Drag in the Park: 31 July

This Pride edition of BOAT’s infamous Drag in the Park returns this year and is the perfect pre-Pride event to kick off your weekend, with even better line-ups than ever before! Hosted as always by local legend Alfie Ordinary, expect the usual raucous fun from some of the top Drag Queens in the UK.


Brighton & Hove Frontrunners 5k Rainbow Run: 31 July

The Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run is back—bolder, brighter, and bigger than ever. This iconic 5K fun run is fast cementing its place as a standout moment in the Pride Weekend calendar. This year’s event proudly supports MindOut, a local LGBTQ+ mental health charity delivering vital services and making a meaningful difference across the community.


Pavilion Pride Picnic: 1 August

Join us in our family safe space to celebrate Pride together. Bring a picnic and plenty of pride! Please note this is an alcohol-free zone.


Pride Community Parade: 1 August

The Pride Community Parade returns this August with the theme the Power of Love. In 2026, Brighton & Hove Pride proudly celebrates 35 years of bold, joyful LGBTQ+ visibility. The Pride Community Parade is one of the undisputed highlights of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend, and is a glorious showcase of the city’s charities, community groups and small businesses as well as our invaluable emergency services, the NHS and statutory partners.


Pride on the Park: 1 & 2 August

Brighton & Hove Pride announces UK favourite RAYE and global icon Diana Ross will headline this year’s 35th anniversary Pride on the Park. The two-day community fundraiser will take place as always at Preston Park. Bring your best sparkles and friends and prepare to party!


Pride Street Party: 1 & 2 August 

This celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community takes place on the iconic Brighton seafront, featuring music zones, drag stages, with sets from Gok Wan and Bimini DJing, this is guaranteed to be a weekend spectacular!


Aperol Spritz Aperidisco - Pride Fundraiser: 1 August 

This Pride Saturday, OHSO Social turns up the heat with Aperidisco - a high-energy day party on the beach terrace, fuelled by sunshine, house beats and ice-cold Aperol Spritz.

What is the Pride Parade, and what routes does it follow?

The Pride Parade begins on Hove Lawns, on the seafront. It is a chance for the LGBTQ+ community, local groups, and allies to celebrate and raise awareness.  The route is advertised as follows:

Start: Hove Lawns (King’s Road on the seafront)

Turn: Moves east along the waterfront

Ascent: Turns left up West Street

City Centre: Continues onto Queens Road

Winding Streets: Flows down North Road, then snakes through Gloucester Place and London Road

Finish: Heads up Preston Road to conclude at the southern corner of Preston Park, where Pride on the Park takes place.

Which headliners and performers are confirmed for the year?

Saturday 1 August: Raye will be headlining Pride on the Park’s main stage, alongside Jessie J, Self Esteem, Leigh-Anne, G Flip, Moonchild Sanelly with RuPaul appearing for an icon DJ set, amongst others.

Sunday 2 August: Diana Ross will be headlining Pride on the Park’s main stage, alongside FIVE, Holly Johnson, Melanie C, and Paris Hilton, amongst others.

Are there family-friendly events or ways for allies to participate?

Yes, many families gather to cheer on the participants in the Parade, there is also a family friendly picnic event held at the Royal Pavilion. Under 18’s are welcome to Pride on the Park, although they must remain accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21 or over at all times. Some performances or areas may feature content more suited to adults, so parental/carer discretion is advised.
