The Flipside is a chic and retro 70's inspired cocktail lounge specialising in cocktails from that era, but with a mesmerisingly modern twist!  Located on the first floor of The Mesmerist in the centre of The Lanes, this cocktail bar draws its inspiration from a truly iconic era, taking equal parts of kitsch and cool mixed with a shot of nostalgia and a splash of modern sophistication, all shaken and stirred together to create a smooth and refreshing tonic for the coolest of cats!

Open for table bookings on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 1pm, The Flipside is the perfect cocktail bar to get the party started with a few expertly mixed cocktails.  And should the urge to shake your tail feathers prove too strong, you only need to venture downstairs to the ground floor of The Mesmerist where top Brighton bands and DJ’s will keep you moving and grooving until the early hours.

The Flipside is also available for private hire from Sundays to Thursdays.  With it’s own entrance, toilets and smoking terrace, as well as a full bar and two separate lounge areas, it is an ideal self-contained venue for groups of up to 60 guests for a buffet or 100 guests for standup receptions.  The Flipside is a versatile space and has hosted a wide range of events including wedding parties and birthday celebrations to business meetings and even photo shoots.
