The Mesmerist is a dapper looking lounge bar in the heart of Brighton’s Lanes that spans three floors and offers a choice of individually styled rooms and a lush roof garden to enjoy a quality food offering or an expertly mixed cocktail or two.  This Brighton institution is stylish and sophisticated without being pretentious, so you’ll feel right at home whether you are catching up with a friend over a bottle of wine, hosting a family meal to celebrate an important occasion or needing event spaces for your corporate event, wedding celebration or Christmas party.

It is not just the décor that brings The Mesmerist to life, they also host some of the best events ranging from themed nights and parties including burlesque and circus nights to frightfully good Halloween and New Year spectaculars, local bands (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) and DJs (Fridays and Saturdays) as well summer roof parties when the weather is good so there’s hardly ever a dull night at The Mes (as it is called by locals and those in the know)!

The food is produced by Unami Nation. Veggies and vegans, fear not - there are plenty of options for you to enjoy too!  Weekends at the Mes feature boozy bottomless brunches every Saturday and Roasts on a Sunday – why not enjoy yours with an expertly mixed Bloody Mary!

The venue also houses a 70’s inspired cocktail lounge, The Flipside.  Taking style nods and design inspiration from a truly iconic era, the cocktail menu features drinks that were all the rage in that decade but served with a Mesmerist twist, of course.
