About
Situated in Brighton’s hip North Laine area, The Flour Pot Bakery has become synonymous with good, simple food served in a laidback, Nordic inspired ambience of copper, marble and wood.
What started as a wholesale bakery, creating beautifully hand-crafted bread, cakes and pastries has grown into one of Brighton’s most unassuming, relevant and fervently received food and coffee haunts.
Using the best possible, seasonal ingredients and serving locally roasted and freshly ground Small Batch coffee, The Flour Pot has been wooing customers with its artisan breads and ciabatta’s filled with carefully sourced, well combined ingredients as well as the finest selection of delectable cakes and specially selected teas.
Devoid of self-importance and clichés and with visible evidence of founder Oli Hyde’s culinary heritage and flair for all-round excellence, The Flour Pot café is an unmissable destination for any Brighton visitor.
*You can also find the Flour Pot’s sister shop on Elm Grove, which boasts a suntrap terrace at the front as well as the usual flavour-packed treats and cool, stripped back décor inside.
*For goodness on the go, The Flour Pot’s gourmet sandwiches are available for take-out at their centrally located Jubilee Street shop.
