About

Loxdale English Centre is in the top 8% of all British Council accredited schools and a member of English UK. Since 1979 it has been situated in a Victorian mansion with a large garden surrounded by trees with its own sports hall. We offer our students free computer access and wi-fi, the opportunity to use our self study room and resoucres and the library. We also have a canteen with freshly prepared food served on a daily basis.

We are a small and friendly school offering General English and English Plus courses for adults throughout the year. Our adult courses offer more than just English lessons. As well as English lessons, to keep courses motivating and interesting, we also have lectures, skillls sessions and a lesson called Britain Today for our students.

We have a fun social programme with lots of different activities to try during the week and excursions to go on at weekends. Mondays to Thursdays two of the school social rooms are open until 2215 for students to meet.

During the summer we also offer English courses for teenagers. As well as English lessons the students have lots of other activities such as singing lessons, drama, art, sports, barbecues, talent shows, discos and karaoke. At weekends there are visits to other towns and cities.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
