The family run Wiston Estate offers a variety of tours from their winery, where guests can learn about the wine production, taste the award-winning wines or enjoy the Landscape and Nature tours which take in the wider estate. Their Chalk Restaurant serves up seasonal and locally sourced dishes in the beautiful setting of a refurbished barn which also boasts a suntrap courtyard for alfresco dining.

Tours – 11am and 2.30pm daily. Closed Mondays.

Chalk open 8am – 5pm Tues – Sun. Opening for dinners on 6th May for Fridays and Saturdays.

Landscape & Nature Tours

These tours are a unique look 'under the bonnet' of Wiston Estate, giving guests access to parts of the estate not open to the public and exploring different themes with local experts. We will explore the ancient woodlands and butterflies, discover Downland farming and learn about the farmland birds which the estate is home to. Each tour is hosted by our CEO Richard Goring, who will be joined by a series of experts across the program.

Sundowner Safari Tours

For a few select evenings throughout the summer we are running a special Sundowner Vineyard Safari Tour & Tasting. This incorporates our Safari Tour in the early evening and dinner at Chalk. We’ll meet at 5pm at North Farm and tour through the winery, then start our exploration of Wiston wines with a tasting of the non-vintage wines in the flint tasting room. Then we will hop into the winery trailer and head over the South Downs hills to our original vineyard. Here we will explore the secluded spot and enjoy an alfresco tasting of our vintage cuvées – all made exclusively with grapes from this vineyard. After this we will head back over to Chalk and enjoy the sumptuous dinner - sourced as much as possible from the estate and its surrounding farms.
