This experience is part of City Uncovered: Brighton, taking place from 1st–14th June 2026 — a limited-time series of unique, under-the-radar experiences designed to help you see the city differently.

Led by a local creative guide, this relaxed photo walk blends mindfulness, observation and photography, encouraging you to explore Brighton at a slower pace while capturing moments that often go unnoticed.

Beginning outside Jubilee Library, you’ll wander through Brighton’s hidden lanes, independent streets and quieter city corners before gradually making your way towards the seafront. Along the route, you’ll be encouraged to pause, look closely and photograph the details many people pass by — from reflections in windows and colourful textures to changing light, architecture and unexpected moments of calm within the city.

As the walk reaches Brighton Palace Pier and continues along the shoreline towards Hove seafront before sunset, the atmosphere shifts into a slower coastal rhythm. With the evening light reflecting across the sea, you’ll capture peaceful seaside scenes, soft colours and the unique energy of Brighton at golden hour.

Rather than focusing on technical perfection, this experience is about creativity, presence and connection to place. Whether you’re using a camera or smartphone, you’ll be guided through simple creative prompts designed to help you observe more deeply and experience the city in a more mindful way.
