About
Dance the night away to the irresistible sounds of classic Funk, Motown and Soul.
Formed in 1989, The Blunter Brothers are one of the UK’s premier revue acts, delivering high-energy performances packed with timeless hits from James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfield, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Average White Band and more.
Renowned for their musicianship and infectious live shows, the band has supported legendary artists including Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Ruby Turner, Rufus Thomas and Geno Washington, and has collaborated with members of George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic, as well as performing with the late Pee Wee Ellis.
Individually, band members have worked with an extraordinary roster of artists such as Sir Elton John, Sir Cliff Richard, Joan Armatrading, Mica Paris, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Tears For Fears, Heather Small (M People) and Macy Gray.
As Pee Wee Ellis himself said:
“A great gig… nice camaraderie between the guys and a good vibe.”
Come and feel it for yourself.
